Title: Phlebotomist I
Duration:3 months
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Shift: M - F 0700-1600 MST

Summary:
The PSR I is the first point of contact for patients, providing friendly, professional service while collecting and preparing blood samples for lab testing. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create a trusting patient experience. The PSR I follows strict procedures, maintains accurate records, and upholds confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate blood draws (clinical and forensic) and specimen processing
• Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring comfort and trust
• Maintain a safe, professional environment and comply with protocols
• Complete documentation and data entry accurately and timely
• Support leadership behaviors and process excellence

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification is required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (1+ years preferred)
• Strong customer service and data entry skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
