Overview

Purpose Statement/Position Summary:

The Employee Health Services (EHS) Clinical Manager uses a broad and specific knowledge of nursing practice, occupational health, and workers’ compensation to deliver independent direct medical management for hospital employees, volunteers, within their scope of practice and in collaboration with a physician advisor. Will oversee pre-employment, annual requirements and return to work screenings and decisions/actions related to results. Assists with Human Resources initiatives and programs in a confidential capacity to formulate, determine and effectuate management policies.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

• Required: 3+ years Workers’ Compensation management and/or Occupational Health experience. 2+ year working in a hospital environment.

• Preferred: 2+ year’s leadership, emergency room or adult critical care nursing experience preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California. Current American Heart Association CPR certification. Current American Heart Association PALS card.

• Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing, or a related Health Administration program.

Pay Scale Information

$110,074.00-$188,698.00

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
