Who you are You're a self-motivated engineer that has an eye for quality. You can take high level product requirements, create in-depth test cases and automate them through various software development and tools. You can take high level business requirements from various departments and break them down into actionable items to deliver as an engineer. Not only do you care about the code and integrations you build, but you also care about the business health, growth and potential. You thrive in a startup environment where you'll juggle different priorities and iterate quickly. What you'll get to do This opportunity is for a Remote Contractor role. The contractor will be focused on testing automation and quality assurance of the Wag! Platform spread across several mobile applications. You will ensure release deadlines are met by leveraging various test automation tools to ensure the highest quality of features and performance. You will streamline our SDLC by building and maintaining a state of the art test automation platform. You will partner with other engineers to increase test coverage while streamlining our release process. What we offer Love dogs? You're in luck! What you'll need to get in the door You have an exceptionally high attention to detail when it comes to mobile application development and testing. You can easily identify edge cases when testing features. With that, you are able to clearly define test cases during the early stages of requirements gathering. Exceptionally high level of attention to detail. Experience in Quality Assurance on iOS and Android apps. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. (Gitlab, Jenkins, Bitrise) Passionate about apps and analytics, obsessed with both finding and solving problems. Strong written and verbal communication skills with feature documentation, test cases and bug reports. Bonus points Experience in test automation. (Appium, Selenium, XCUITest, Espresso) About Wag!
