Senior Applications Engineer, Technology Risk & Compliance

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of migrating the firms on-premises Intapp platform to the cloud, including identifying new capabilities that drive business value.
- Collaborate closely with the Conflicts and Intake team to understand their processes, terminology, and workflows, enabling effective analysis of application features and configurations.
- Partner with local business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet operational needs.
- Provide informed recommendations to business and IT leadership based on a deep understanding of the Intapp platform, product roadmap, and key business drivers.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with Intapp to advocate for desired product enhancements, features, and bug fixes.
- Participate in application implementations, upgrades, enhancements, troubleshooting activities, and roadmap development.
- Oversee and manage assigned solutions, ensuring their ongoing stability, performance, and overall health.
- Monitor system performance and capacity, prepare regular reports, and lead capacity planning efforts.
- Partner with IT teams to design, develop, and deploy new features and capabilities; lead and manage these initiatives through completion.
- Maintain up-to-date architecture diagrams, documentation, and support materials for use by engineering and support teams.
- Follow and actively contribute to IT Change Management, SDLC, and Incident Management processes.
- Collaborate on the development and delivery of training materials and quality assurance activities for supported applications.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to junior analysts while coordinating effectively with on-site, remote, and offshore team members.
- Work with Quality Assurance to develop test scripts, procedures, and remediation plans.
Proficiencies
The Senior Applications Engineer should demonstrate strong proficiency in:
- Exceptional communication, organization, negotiation, critical thinking, leadership, and customer-service skills.
- Intapp configuration tools, including Forms, Workflows, and data sets.
- Cloud technologies, including features, integrations, and release management.
- System integrations such as APIs, web services, FTP, and database-to-database connections.
- AI and Generative AI concepts, and their applications within legal industry technology and broader IT ecosystems.
- SQL Server, SQL development/queries, and reporting tools.
- Project planning, resource management, and collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
- Security best practices, standards, and procedures.
- Data governance principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Clear written and verbal communication accessible to non-technical users.
- High effectiveness in collaborative, team-driven environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in information technology.
- Minimum of 5 years supporting enterprise platforms.
- Minimum of 3 years working with Intapp Conflicts, Intake, Walls, and Terms, or similar risk and compliance solutions.
- At least 3 years of executive-level stakeholder engagement and customer service experience preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years working with cloud or SaaS solutions.
