Overview The City of Prior Lake is currently seeking a Records Specialist I. This position provides administrative support to the police department and is responsible for creating, processing and maintaining all incident reports and citations, transcribing audio, processing a variety of permits, data requests and helping the public by email, phone and in person. Responsibilities Create, process and maintain all incident reports and citations. Transcribe audio. Process a variety of permits and data requests. Assist the public by email, phone and in person. Qualifications High school diploma or GED plus one year of vocational training and education. Three years of professional experience in an office setting is preferred. Experience with multi-line phones, word processing, transcription, and law enforcement environments is preferred.
