About you
As the Property Accountant, you're a property accounting professional ready to take your career to the next step, working with a local portfolio. You thrive on working within deadlines and providing strong financial reporting for your assigned properties. You identify issues, provide strong analysis on monthly reports and continually seek opportunities for process improvements. You also thrive on sharing your knowledge and participate in training for new accountants.
In this role, you will - You take pride and ownership of your role and workflow, successfully meeting monthly reporting deadlines without compromising accuracy.
- You provide financial advice to your property and general managers within your portfolio.
- You build positive working relationships with your team members, sharing your expertise and collaborating as a group.
- You successfully coordinate the integration of new properties into the accounting workflow.
What you'll bring - Minimum of 2+ years of progressive property accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry.
- Third Party Management Experience.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bonus skills and experience: - Accrual accounting experience.
- Familiarity with commercial property accounting software such as Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate (Timberline), Yardi, and MRI.

Area/Location Specific: Honolulu, HI
Approximate Compensation Range for this Role: $55,000 to $60,000
Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all national locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
