Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive EHS Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing setting. The EHS Coordinator will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, promote a culture of safety, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety data, including SDS, injury/illness logs, and permits.
  • Participate in environmental compliance programs (waste management, air/water permits).
  • Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and reporting.
  • Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Promote employee involvement in safety committees and initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and review of EHS policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other EHS regulations.
  • Effective communication and training skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
  • OSHA 30 Certified, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Hazardous Materials (CHMM) is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily based in a manufacturing plant environment.
  • May require occasional work in outdoor or elevated locations.
  • Must be able to wear PPE as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other EHS regulations.

The position offers a salary range of $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year and is bonus eligible. Bonuses are performance-based and paid a company discretion.
