Overview This is a full-time on-site role located in Orchard Park, NY for an Inside Technical Sales Engineer. The Inside Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical sales support, assisting with customer inquiries, developing sales strategies, and offering technical solutions to clients. This role involves evaluating client needs in a timely manner, designing, specifying, and commissioning solutions. Daily tasks will include technical support, sales engineering, and effective communication with clients and partners. Increase revenue by soliciting and developing accounts while fully supporting all Territory Managers. Responsibilities Provide technical sales support and respond to customer inquiries Assist with customer inquiries and develop technical solutions for clients Develop sales strategies and identify opportunities to increase revenue Evaluate client needs in a timely manner and design, specify, and commission suitable solutions Perform daily tasks including technical support and sales engineering, with effective communication to clients and partners Collaborate with Territory Managers to fully support the sales process Qualifications Technical Sales and sales engineering skills Technical understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment Technical support and comprehensive product knowledge Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude Ability to work independently and with a team Motivation for sales, prospecting skills, customer focus, meeting sales goals, and closing skills Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn and work with proprietary and other software programs Able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform multiple tasks Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Sales and Business Development Industries Industrial Machinery Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr R.M.
