Human Resources Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Hanover, Maryland. This role is fully onsite, offering flexible hours Monday through Friday, and provides an excellent opportunity to support key HR functions in a focused and efficient setting. You will play a vital role in maintaining smooth operations, especially in an environment where most employees work remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
• Assist in employee relations tasks, addressing inquiries and supporting HR initiatives.
• Provide administrative support for HR-related projects and daily operations.
• Organize and maintain employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with remote employees to address HR needs and ensure seamless communication.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in human resources administration or a related field a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in onboarding processes and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• Competence in managing employee relations and addressing HR inquiries.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support remote workforce needs.
