Summary We are looking for a Senior consultant, for our client, a major investment bank in NYC. The Crisis & Incident Management Lead is responsible for defining and executing the organization’s crisis and incident management strategy in the Americas. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain the crisis and incident management framework. Lead and coordinate responses during major incidents, escalating when necessary. Maintain and improve crisis playbooks, escalation protocols, and communication plans. Collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, Risk, Legal, Communications, and Operations to ensure integrated responses. Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and support audit readiness. Conduct post-incident reviews and drive corrective action plans. Lead and mentor a team, deliver crisis training, and organize simulations and tabletop exercises. Professional Experience 10+ years of experience in incident response, business continuity, operational resilience, or crisis management in complex, global organizations. Proven track record leading crisis response and incident management across business, technology, and cyber domains. Experience coordinating with executive stakeholders and external regulators. Technical & Regulatory Knowledge Strong understanding of operational resilience frameworks and crisis management best practices. Familiarity with global regulatory requirements such as DORA, FFIEC, OCC, PRA (or equivalent). Knowledge of incident management platforms, emergency notification tools, and analytics for process improvement. Leadership & Soft Skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels, including executive leadership. Strong decision-making skills under pressure, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams. Analytical and problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes, and multicultural environments. Education & Certification (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Professional certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or equivalent are a plus.
