Job Description

Job Summary The Business Process Analyst is responsible for leading process improvement efforts across Operations, Manufacturing, and other functional areas. The role focuses on initiatives that leverage and optimize the company’s ERP system and advanced data analysis tools. Responsibilities include guiding critical business initiatives, ensuring their successful execution, providing ongoing support for business system issues, and coordinating between operational departments and IT on technical improvement projects. Activities are performed independently and in accordance with SOPs, the QMS, safety, and administrative regulations. Local candidates only – No relocation provided – Position is on‑site. Responsibilities Partner with company management and IT teams to identify and prioritize projects that optimize the ERP system for process automation and streamlining. Evaluate system or process modifications to assess their impact and provide well‑informed recommendations. Apply advanced expertise in Power BI and SAP to improve data analysis and reporting functions. Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and IVDR regulations. Operate within QA/QMS, including CAPA, non‑conformities, and other quality management processes. Manage projects effectively, ensuring clear scope, resource allocation, stakeholder input, implementation, and post‑implementation evaluation and reporting. Demonstrate strong analytical skills and thorough understanding of product and process flows. Communicate effectively and present findings to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and engagement. Work autonomously while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Utilize Value Stream Mapping and Lean Six Sigma techniques to ensure successful project execution. Provide analytical support including cost savings estimates, safety improvements, and quality enhancements. Prepare and facilitate meetings with management, project stakeholders, and steering committees. Develop and communicate detailed specifications for implementation of projects and system changes. Produce reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management, customers, investors, and other parties. Maintain proper documentation and coordinate or perform testing of system modifications. Comply with applicable Werfen SOPs, ISO, FDA, and other Quality System regulations, as well as EHS, HR, and other regulatory and company policies. Key Relationships This position works regularly and collaboratively with staff in Werfen’s Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Engineering, Production Planning, Shipping, and Finance teams. Qualifications Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: Education Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or (B.S.) in an engineering, technical, or related field required. Experience Minimum 5+ years of Project Management within Operations in a life sciences manufacturing company. Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI. Advanced user of Excel, Word, PowerPoint required. Proficiency with ERP systems required: SAP (MM, PP, QM). PMP certification preferred. Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement. Skills & Capabilities Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong knowledge of statistical methods and data modeling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of Project Management concepts and tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Strong emotional intelligence, collaboration, and influence skills. Travel Requirements Up to 5% local travel. Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $115,000, depending on education, experience, and skill set.
