Job Title: Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic
Location: Winnemucca NV Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $25 to $40 per hour (Based on experience) Company: Fleet services of Nevada Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and self-motivated Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in diagnostics and troubleshooting. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering quality service. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and drivetrains Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on trucks and heavy-duty equipment Repair and replace engine components, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and more Use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve performance issues Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings with service managers Work independently and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations Requirements: 3+ years of experience working on heavy-duty diesel equipment and vehicles Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with modern diesel systems Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software (e.g., Cummins INSITE, CAT ET, etc.) Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and minimal need for supervision Must have own tools and valid drivers license (CDL preferred but not required) ASE or OEM certifications a plus What We Offer: Competitive pay (based on experience) Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and certification opportunities Supportive work environment with growth potential Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits:by Jobble
