Express Employment is looking for a self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented professional to take full charge of our office's day-to-day operations - someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to roll up their sleeves and make an immediate impact.

This is a critical role for a small, fast-paced team. The right person will have the confidence, initiative, and business acumen to take ownership of our bookkeeping and administrative functions while helping modernize and streamline our operations.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Full-charge bookkeeping using Sage (Peachtree) Accounting Software
  • Invoicing, purchase orders, bill payments, collections
• Assist in future transition to QuickBooks
• Create and manage documents using Microsoft Word & Excel
• Work with Adobe PDF documents (editing, organizing, and preparing)
• Maintain and update insurance policies , manage COI requests for vendors and contractors
• Provide basic computer and email support to senior staff as needed
• Support overall office digitization and organization efforts

🎯 Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Strong working knowledge of Sage (Peachtree) software
• Experience with QuickBooks (or readiness to transition to it)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent problem-solving skills and business judgment
• A self-starter mindset - able to work independently and take initiative
• Prior experience in bookkeeping, office management , or accounting
• Accounting degree preferred, or equivalent experience in the field
